General FAQ

▪ Can I ship an instrument to you?
Absolutely. Volins, violas and cellos can be shipped via UPS, FedEx, or USPS, and if you need to ship a bass, we may be able to provide you with a hard travel case. Please contact us for details on shipping options.

▪Do you sell instruments on consignment?
Yes...we take 20% of the final purchase price, not including tax.

▪ Do you do appraisals?
We're happy to give you our professional opinion on the value of any instrument you bring in. For a modest fee, we can provide you with a written appraisal for insurance or other purposes. If you need further authentication, we can refer you to other resources.

▪ Do you re-hair and/or repair bows?
We have a relationship with a great local bowmaker and repairman and pass this work along to him. You may drop off and pick up your bow at our shop; turnaround time is normally less than two weeks.
